So here are a few things that could help out our classroom:
read aloud books from my amazon.com wish lis
Mr. Sketch Markers (they are the ones that smell like different fruits)
Skinny crayola markers
2 heavy duty pencil sharpeners (often found at office supply stores)
2 beanbag chairs or small lounging chairs (like the ones that you can buy for kids to sit on the floor that kind of rock back and forth, often for video game players) to be used during reading workshop and other times
legos
mancala games
G-rated movies (for party days) on DVD, preferably
I will edit this list as things are needed. If you’ve got a question, fire me an email or just post a comment to this page! Thanks for all your support!

I have a blank mancala board and a VERY small deck of cards to give you. I’ll have Amy bring them to class this week. Can you use stuff like Brain Quest decks? I’ll see if we still have the 3rd grade version.

Jeannie,
All of that would be great! I’ve used Brain Quest with first grade and they really liked it, so I would imagine I would use it with the third graders as well. Thanks!
